Eagle Scout Projects

An Eagle Scout project is more than a service requirement—it's a demonstration of elite project management and leadership. Think of it as a comprehensive product launch, where the scout is the visionary CEO. This capstone achievement is the ultimate proof of a candidate's ability to plan, develop, and execute a complex initiative for the ultimate client: the community.

Requirements of an Eagle Scout Project

Every Eagle Scout project is required to meet these key requirements.

The project must benefit a religious institution, school, or community organization, not an individual, a business, or Scouting America itself.

Benefit the Community

The primary goal is to show your ability to plan, budget, and lead others to complete the project.

Demonstrate Leadership

Scouts must outline and document the project, showing detailed planning, budgeting, and steps to completion.
