Service is an important part of Scouts BSA and a priority for us at Troop 57. Part of living out the Scout Law calls us to be a service to others. Whether it’s participating in our roadside cleanup on Lehigh Rd, or helping those in need, such as the Fr. Pfleger program, our scouts are always serving with a smile! Scouts are all called to do a good turn daily.

Lehigh Ave Cleanup

Twice a year, Troop 57 walks the 1-mile stretch between Chestnut and Glenview Rd to pick up trash and help keep our community clean. And there’s no better way to end a couple hours of hard work than an ice cream from the Dairy Bar!

Fr. Pfleger Food Pantry

Each year Troop 57 partners with St. Sabina Parish to pack 200 care packages of basic household items for those in need. This has been a proud tradition in the troop for many years.

Eagle Scout Projects

Before a Scout can earn the respected rank of Eagle Scout, he/she must organize, plan, and lead a service project in the community. Check out more about these Eagle Projects on our Eagle Scout Legacy page.
